Korean Ground Beef
Description
This super easy recipe is filling and impressive for sharing with guests. Serve with Korean salad or Hawaiian rolls.
Ingredients
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbl honey
1 tsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 lb ground beef
1 tbl ginger paste
1 tbl or 4 cloves minced ginger
1/2 cup green onions, sliced
2 cups cooked rice
Steps
1. Mix together sauce in a small bowl with a wisk or fork soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
2. Mix together toping in a small bowl ginger paste, minced garlic, and green onions. Set aside.
3. Cook beef (if less than 20% fat, add 1 rbl sesame oil).
4. Turn burner to low and stir in sauce until thickened. This will take about 1 minute.
5. Turn burner off and mix in topping.
6. Divide into four portions and serve each portion over 1/2 cup rice.
